Raising The Bar; Black Code of Conduct- The Precepts
1. Acknowledging our CREATOR:
To relegate destiny and contemporary life on this planet to the whims and decisions of man without seeking the wisdom of Yahweh-GOD is to welcome certain chaos and destruction.
2. Respect for Life
Mankind is required to regard fairness to non-human life. YAHWEH-GOD created the animal kingdom before HE created mankind, thus humans should regard that creation with fair discretion and judgment. How much more should we value human life?
3. Respect for our planet:
Mankind was put in charge of overseeing the upkeep and well-being of planet earth. In short and on a personal level, maintain the cleanliness of your community and neighborhood.
4. Scholarship, study, and education.
Vocabulary, biblical studies, personal study, pursuit of educational goals, G.E.D.- Doctorates are our goals. Learn and test yourself on one-two new words daily for a year will only increase your appetite or learning.
Read one chapter from your bible daily for a year will increase your spiritual, moral, and scholastic aptitude.
5. Those who have the wherewithal to do so, eat healthy, consume vegetables green and leafy, e.g., raw spinach, raw broccoli. Juice raw beets, carrots, celery, and ginger and add dulce and seaweed. Consume at the gym in a container while you are working out-it works for me. Beets are excellent for the liver-your second heart.
6. Parents create a standard daily motto or affirmation for yourselves and particularly for your children. See reference video ( Rashan and Fitzroy). http://youtu.be/e0CDl1wuPzM
7. Single parents seek parental support from groups and organizations who can help guide you through the long and responsible ordeal of being a parent.
8. Raising The Bar applies to all members of the black community ranging from our churches to those who are convicted ex-felons whether you are guilty or truly innocent.
9. Engaging all youth to become a part of a larger network. For instance, The proposed national Orientation Week or (NOW), creates a fraternal body for our children while they are in school.
10. All black men will respect all women. All black men will have respect for themselves and will not steal, murder and embody a spirit that is opposed to welcoming brother and sisterhood among people. Black men must raise the bar and raise their children. Black women must be patient and forbearing and must not hurl profanities at their
children.
(a). Black people must reject the part of black culture that embraces the accepted use of profanity as though it were a cultural kinsman and raise the bar to use words that reflect one’s level of consciousness-awareness, study and scholarship.
